About This Special Issue
Due to the continuously increasing complexity of the analyzed underground structures and the substantial research, advance computational models and methods are needed to solve these issues. We develop this special issue around the theme of Computational Methods in Geotechnical Engineering to highlight the critical importance of these topics for ongoing progress in geotechnical engineering. Accepted papers will show a diversity of new developments in these areas. This issue accepts high quality articles containing original research results and case studies in terms of studies on deep excavations, tunnels, slope, and foundations. And it will let the readers of this journal know more about this fundamental area of computational methods in geotechnical engineering.
