About This Special Issue
Oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) is simply and loosely explained as "impact of oral conditions on daily functioning and well-being". The factors that impact the OHRQoL of individuals are the most diverse: from environmental factors, oral health conditions, lifestyle, treatments, aesthetic perception, among others.
The lifestyle of the current population, with the reduction of acute oral health problems, evidences the proportion of chronic diseases and individual characteristics may have an effect on the OHRQoL of individuals, being a subject in evidence and focus of study in different research groups. , In the whole world.
This special issue aims to discuss and publish OHRQoL manuscripts with various associated factors, be they oral health conditions, disorders, syndromes or treatments. We appreciate the submission of manuscripts discussing OHRQoL in different groups under different living conditions and reports of the impacts of various dental treatments.
The main purpose of this special issue is the publication of OHRQoL manuscripts.
As specific objectives, we will seek the discussion and presentation of manuscripts with different parameters and factors related to the impacts on OHRQoL, such as:
