About This Special Issue
Journal of Environmental and Resource Economics, special issue that is Agricultural Economics and rural development is one of the huge areas in research. The aim of the special issue is to bring these huge fields of research to one theme. Agricultural economics and rural development is a combination of different discipline in the field of Agriculture specifically from environmental and natural resource economics to one area to get high quality and standard papers throughout the world. Agricultural Economics is the discipline that most researchers do research in the theme like climate change and variability, Food Security, Value chain analysis, Marketing, Production and Productivity side of Agriculture whereas rural development’s theme where agricultural extension, rural development, energy, and etc. Even though Agricultural Economics and Rural Development are different fields of agriculture, the two discipline have a connected base root in common and unseparated fields of agriculture. This why the proposed special issue is also connects the two disciplines.
