About This Special Issue
Trace elements enter the soil via industrial, agricultural, and sanitary waste waters. Uncontaminated soil was recorded. The upper permissible concentrations of Cr, for example, in soils should modify. It is immobile in soils and to be relatively harmless to animals when ingested. Phosphates fertilizers, for example, contain significant amounts of several trace elements. High levels of cadmium in phosphate fertilizers, sometimes around 100 mg/kg, can produce increases both in soil contents and in plant uptake. The Cd was absorbed by crops, such as paddy rice and soybeans, grown on the polluted soil.
Aims and Scope:
- Soil chemistry
- Sorption and desorption of trace elements in soil
- Soil washing
- Groundwater and soil
- Soil types
- Soil Cleanup
