About This Special Issue
The next generation of smart computing depends on the ubiquitous sensing capabilities of Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) that significantly influence many applications in modern living. The Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is an emerging technology that is expected to connect billions of heterogeneous objects through the Internet. The emerging IoT is going to affect the quality of human lives in many aspects which provide seamless integration of information and communication technologies shortly.
The IoT has to go beyond tradition mobile computing paradigm by enabling smart objects to realize the full potential of the smart computing environment. Smart connectivity and context-aware computation are key components of the IoT. Some of the potential applications of IoT are smart transportation, health monitoring, surveillance, infrastructure monitoring, environment monitoring, business, and smart home.
Eventually, IoT could transfer to WoT and IoE for more realization and more reliability.
In this proposal, some ideas could applied, IoT or IoE could devote for smart intelligent buildings, according to many categories, such that:
  1. IoT Liquid Level Monitoring System
  2. IoT Based Safety Monitoring and Alerting System
  3. IoT Garbage Monitoring System
  4. IoT Cars Parking System
  5. Biometric Attendance System over IoT
  6. IoT Electronic Door Controlling
  7. IoT based Smart Agriculture Monitoring System Project
  8. Generator Fuel Spent based IoT
  9. Tank Gage Remotely Monitoring
  10. IoT Streetlight Control System
